Website care for Geelong businesses
Your website still needs attention after launch. Avera includes the first year of website care with Avera-built sites, with paid care from month 13. We assess externally built sites before agreeing to look after them.
Know what happens after launch
For a site we build, the first year of website care forms part of the project. We explain the care tasks and responsibilities in the scope, along with the paid arrangement from month 13.
A care agreement needs to distinguish keeping the existing site running from adding to it. New pages, a redesign or new booking features need a separate conversation and quote.
Existing sites need an assessment
If another provider built your site, send us the website address and explain what you need. We review the platform, access and condition before deciding whether we can take it on.
An assessment may identify work needed before ongoing care can begin. We quote that work separately. We do not promise to support every website platform or take over an unseen site.
Put responsibilities in writing
Ask which maintenance tasks, checks and changes your agreement includes, and who owns the hosting and domain accounts. We confirm those boundaries before care starts.
Licences, renewals and work outside the care scope need separate allowance. Agree the support arrangements rather than assume care includes unlimited changes or round-the-clock incident response.
Questions about the scope
Is website care included with a new Avera website?
Yes. The first year of website care is included for Avera-built sites. Paid care begins from month 13, with the scope and ongoing arrangement set out in your quote.
Can you maintain a website someone else built?
We assess externally built sites first. Platform, access and condition affect whether we can offer care, and any remedial work needs its own scope.
Does care cover new pages or a redesign?
Do not assume it does. We separate ongoing care from new features, new pages and redesign work. Your agreement defines the included tasks and how we quote additional work.
